The Preferences option lets you add your own DCE applications to the DCE Cell Manager Launcher bar. The DCE applications started in this way run within the same secure context that is established when you log in to DCE Cell Manager. You can also add your own QuickHelp cue that activates when the pointer passes over the new button.
